Full Sun Plants

Dwarf Ixora (Red or Yellow)

  • Growth Height: 3–4 ft
  • Care: Requires bloom booster fertilizer every 3–4 months
  • Water: 25–30 min/week 

Mammy Croton

  • Height: Up to 4 ft
  • Care: Fertilize every 3–4 months
  • Water: 15–20 min/week 

Gold Mound Duranta

  • Height: Up to 5 ft
  • Care: Light trimming after 6 months
  • Water: 20–25 min/week 

Foxtail Fern

  • Height: 2–3 ft

  • Trim at the neck of the plant

Sod Care Instructions

Zoysia ("Golf Course Sod")

  • Mow with push mower only
  • High maintenance: Treat for weeds/disease
  • Water: 10–15 min/day for first 2 weeks, then 40–45 min/week 

St. Augustine

  • Mow at 4-inch height
  • Needs a fertilization/disease plan
  • Water: 10–15 min/day for first 2 weeks, then 48 min/week 

Bahia

  • Low maintenance
  • Mow weekly to control growth
  • Dormant in winter, regrows in spring
  • Water: 10–15 min/day for first 2 weeks, then 35 min/week
